Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use Comptoir Veritas, regardless of ability or assistive technology.
Our commitment
We are committed to making comptoirveritas.com accessible and to conforming, as closely as is practical, with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the standard widely referenced for compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Accessibility is an ongoing effort, and we continue to improve the experience over time.
What we've done
- Readable contrast — text and interface colors are tuned to meet the AA contrast ratio against our dark theme.
- Full keyboard support — interactive elements can be reached and operated with the keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
- Skip-to-content links and semantic landmarks (navigation, main, footer) so assistive technology can navigate efficiently.
- Labelled controls — form fields and buttons have accessible names; images have text alternatives.
- Reduced-motion support — animations are minimized for visitors who prefer reduced motion.
- Responsive, zoom-friendly layout that adapts to mobile screens and browser text scaling.
Known limitations
Some content is provided by third parties — for example, live marketplace listings and their images are served from external sources, and we have limited control over their accessibility. Price charts present visual data; the same figures (typical price, range, and recent sales) are also available as text on the page. We are working to address remaining gaps, and this statement has not yet been validated by an independent third-party audit.
Tell us about a problem
If you encounter a barrier or have a suggestion, we want to hear from you. Email Contact@comptoirveritas.com with the page and a short description of the issue, and we will do our best to respond promptly and provide the information you need in an accessible way.
