Every figure on Veritas traces back to real activity on the open market. We don’t invent prices — we aggregate and organize what the market is already telling us.
What’s for sale now
Current listings are pulled directly from the eBay marketplace and several other sources to represent the price most accurately to the market data.
What it actually sold for
We incorporate recently-sold prices — the truest signal of value — to ground every reference in completed transactions, not just asking prices.
Filtered for trust
Where available, we prioritize inventory covered by eBay’s Authenticity Guarantee, so comparable prices reflect verified goods rather than question marks.
How we build a reference view
For each reference — a specific model, like a Rolex Submariner 116610LN — we gather the relevant live and sold comps and distil them into the numbers you see on the page:
- Typical price — a representative figure for the reference based on aggregated comparable listings and sales.
- Range — the recent low and high, so you can see the spread the market is pricing across condition and completeness.
- Direction — short- and medium-term change indicators that show whether a reference is trending up or cooling off.
- Recent sales — a sample of completed transactions for context on condition and timing.
